Abstract
This paper examines how Hindi web series on OTT platforms have transformed the on-screen representation of women, tracing a shift from outdated, clichéd portrayals to dynamic, empowered central characters. Taking a qualitative approach that combines analysis of selected series with academic literature, audience reviews, and industry reports, the study finds that digital platforms have become a valuable space for feminist storytelling and more diverse representations of women, with implications for how audiences perceive gender roles.
