Abstract
This paper examines the spread of digital media among the Koya tribes of Bhadradri, Kothagudem, and its effects on the community’s traditional media forms, culture, and society. Drawing on secondary data from academic literature, government reports, and NGO studies, it identifies barriers such as inadequate infrastructure, low literacy, and cultural resistance, alongside opportunities for education and cultural preservation, and closes with recommendations for policymakers to design inclusive digital strategies that respect the Koya community’s customs.
