Abstract
This paper traces the historical development of human communication from ancient cave paintings through written language, the printing press, and electronic media to the internet and social media age. It examines how each new medium has both reflected and reshaped the societal structures of its time, while also considering contemporary concerns such as information verification and the digital divide, closing with a look at how platforms like Twitter continue to shape human discourse amid rapid technological change.
